paid Fair Pricing · No Hidden Fees
Far south of the Turnpike. Agricultural lands, the Speedway, newer Lennar developments, mobile homes, and Florida City just below. We still come — and we tell you the honest ETA.
The bright pink area is Homestead — south of SW 232nd Street, through the agricultural zone, down to Florida City. The lighter pink is the rest of our Miami-Dade zone.
Homestead is the southernmost part of our service area. From where we're based in Kendall, that's a 40 to 55 minute drive, longer if there's an incident on the Turnpike. We tell you that upfront because we'd rather quote an honest 50-minute ETA than promise 20 and show up 45 minutes late.
The work in Homestead spans a wider range of property types than most Miami neighborhoods. There are the older single-family homes around the historic downtown and Homestead Air Reserve Base. There are mobile-home parks where the hardware is different (and often older) than what you'd find in a stick-built home. There are the newer Lennar and Pulte developments off Speedway Boulevard. There are the agricultural properties — nurseries, packing houses, equipment sheds — where we sometimes get called for padlocks, hasps, and shed door locks. And there's Florida City just south, which is its own small community.
We bring the same toolkit and the same flat rates we'd bring to any neighborhood. The drive is longer, but the price isn't — we don't charge a 'south Dade surcharge.' If you're inside Miami-Dade, you get the same honest treatment we give Kendall and Brickell.
Every neighborhood has its own pattern. Here's what we get called for most around 33030.
Older homes near the historic downtown, newer Lennar and Pulte developments off Speedway — we rekey all exterior cylinders in one visit.
Mobile-home doors use thinner, lighter hardware than stick-built. We carry the right cylinders and won't oversell you something you don't need.
Padlocks, hasps, shed locks, equipment storage hardware. We service the working side of Homestead, not just the residential side.
House lockouts, mobile-home lockouts, car lockouts in driveways and parking lots — same flat rate, no rural surcharge.
Most makes handled in your driveway. Distance from a dealership matters a lot down here — we save you the tow.
Newer Homestead construction has multi-point hardware. We carry the cassettes.
We tell you the real ETA. No fake 15-minute promises from someone who's actually 40 minutes out.
Same flat rate as the rest of Miami-Dade. Homestead doesn't pay extra to get a locksmith.
From mobile homes to working farms to new construction — we handle the full Homestead mix.
"I recently used A&O Locksmith to rekey my house and was really impressed with their service. They were very reasonably priced compared to other locksmiths I checked, and the job was done quickly and professionally. Highly recommend!"
40 to 55 minutes off-peak. We text you the moment we leave so you have a real ETA, not a sales-pitch ETA.
Yes. Mobile-home doors use lighter hardware and need a different approach than stick-built. We carry the right parts.
Yes — we service working agricultural properties. Padlocks, hasps, shed door cylinders, storage container hardware.
Yes, we cover Florida City and the Speedway/Krome corridor as well. Same flat rates.
Single-family, mobile home, farm, or new construction — we come. We tell you the real ETA up front and the flat rate is the same as anywhere else.
