We Service Every Major French Door Brand
Brand names are the property of their respective owners. A&O Premium Locksmith is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer.
On-site, mobile service across Miami-Dade. No shop drop-off, no door removal.
Moving in, lost keys, or just want fresh ones? We pull the cylinder, rekey on-site, and reinstall. Hardware stays in place.
Loose handle? Lock won't throw? The gearbox driving the multi-point bolts is worn. We swap it without removing the door.
Stuck or worn surface bolts on the inactive leaf? We replace, lubricate, or realign top and bottom flush bolts so both doors lock down tight.
Door won't latch or rubs the astragal? Both leaves shifted. We adjust hinges and strike plates so the doors close and seal properly.
When the original hardware is broken, discontinued, or you want a security upgrade, we source matching trim and install the new set on-site.
Fully equipped van. Replacement gearboxes, cylinders, and hardware on board. We come to your home and finish in one visit.
A French door is a pair of doors that meet in the middle. The active leaf is the one you use every day — it has the handle, the deadbolt, and (on most modern French doors) a multi-point hardware set that throws bolts at the top and bottom of the door when you lift the handle.
The inactive leaf stays bolted shut. It locks into the floor and the header with surface bolts (also called flush bolts), and the active leaf latches into it. When something stops working, it's almost always one of these three things: alignment, gearbox, or surface bolts.
…we service it. Hoppe, Andersen, Amesbury Truth, Pella, Marvin, and most premium hardware brands.
Every one of these is a fix we handle on-site. Most are faster and cheaper than you think.
You have to push or lift hard to close. Active and inactive leaves shifted out of alignment.
Flops down or doesn't spring back. The multi-point gearbox is worn.
The flush bolts on the inactive leaf won't slide. Worn, corroded, or jammed.
Sticks, jiggles, or you have to fight it. Worn cylinder or worn pin tumblers.
Inactive leaf bolts loose or strike plate failed. Common after big storms.
We rekey on-site without removing the hardware. Same-day, same hardware, new keys.
We'll tell you straight. Here's how we think about it on French doors.
PGT, Andersen, and most premium sliders share hardware DNA with French doors. If your slider also won't lock or close right, start here.
